I voted for Kaitlyn Josephine, but I also really like Kaitlyn Amelie. It was a tough choice. In the end, I went with Josephine b/c I think Katy Jo would be a sweet nn even if it's only ever used at home.

I agree with Stephanie- was torn between Josephine and Amelie, however I went with Amelie because I love the classy, beautiful feel of it. I do think that Katy Jo is cute though.

I really love to see any of the family middle names paired as a first- and middle-name combo over Kaitlyn paired with any of them. They're all beautiful!

If you had happened to see another post this person made, you'd know Kaitlyn is actually a family name too. Just FYI. :-)

To the OP: I'm glad you found a first name you love after all the drama with Avery and Ainsley. I'm sorry was all so stressful, but I'm sure grandmothers will be really honored that you chose to pass down a variation of their names!

I really loved Kaitlyn Amelie and Kaitlyn Josephine. If there is even the SLIGHTEST possibility that you might call her Katie Jo as a nickname sometimes, Kaitlyn Josephine gets my vote. I LOVE Katie Jo!

Thanks, Annie! And for what it's worth, Kaitlyn Josephine got my vote, too. Josephine is fantastic. And like Annie, I'm so glad that the OP got everything straightened out regarding the name after all the Avery/Ainsley drama.

A name similar to Kaitlyn that is less common that I really like is Kaitryn (nn Katie or Kate)
