While I feel Ryan is overused, it would definitely be my choice. I have two boys, and I would stay away from Judah and Jude because they are so close to Judith. I grew up with Judiths whose nns were Jude.
Imo, Judah Cox or Jude Cox just aren't great combos. You've got teasing possibilties from the first name and the last (cocks).
While I don't think there should be any difference in naming a biological or adopted son, I do see the meaning behind the choice of Judah/Jude (for those not into such things, it means 'praised' in Hebrew).
It doesnt make a difference to me (in choosing a name or otherwise) that our son will be adopted, I didnt mean it in that way, I am just very excited that after 5yrs of infertility, and 1 year of beeing a foster parent, I may finally have a son to call my own.
