Carson and Carter sound matchy & cutsey and while both names are fine on their own they sound too rhymey with the first syllable being the same.
Colby is too much a cheese name and I really would hate to see a little boy come home in tears because he's been called "cheese head" or "cheese breath" or something similar,
Carson and Colton - Carson sounds debonair and smooth, Colton sounds cowboyish and a bit "hick".. they don't match styles at at, to me.
Carson and Porter - Porter isn't an occupation name I'd saddle a kid with anymore than I'd saddle one with Skinner. It's just not a pleasant sounding (or meaning, to me).
Carson and Hunter - Another one where one sounds coarse & crass next to one that sounds debonair & smooth.. one will always wish he had the other's name. Boys have enough things to trigger sibling rivalry.. their names shouldn't be one of them.
Carson & Chandler GMV. (Truman would've been my pair with Carson!)
edited to correct my spelling. *sheesh*
