I voted for Zachary to keep the hard C sound going -- Chris, Nick and Zach. HTH! :)

Hey Liz,

Just in case you don't get your Annie?!

I voted for Jeremy- classic name just like Christopher and Nicholas, though I would really like the nn Jem/Jemmy :P Jeremy Alexander and Jeremy Patrick both sound great, though I might avoid the initials JAB, but that's not really that bad. Second choice would be Alexander, on the strength/timelessness factor, though there are a number of little alexanders around at the moment. Jonathan and Zachary are more trendy, or at least they were in the 80s-90s (Jeremy was a bit trendy for our generation, I know...but that's *just* far enough from a 2006/7 baby, KWIM?). The number of Jons in the preschool is down, but there are currently 2 Zachs (one Zackery (Zak) and one Zacharias (Zach), actually). I can't comment on Gregory...>.< (<-nifty wince, huh? I love having teenaged cousins/nieces/nephews :P)

Okay, I know that this is turning into a monster post. Sorry. I just checked the SSA site though, and it's rather interesting. Each of my siblings and I all had/have at least one friend named Jeremy, and that makes enough sense as the name peaked in popularity in the usa the year I was born (at #14!). But for a name that I would have consiered timeless, It only entered the US top 1000 in 1942, and then climbed steadily until the late 60s, when it climbed from #455 to #70 in four years. That really surprised me...I would have guessed that it was a relatively timeless classic, peaking in the 50s-60s. So maybe I should revise my pick...but I do like the name for you. I wish the UK and Canada had a SSA-type site- then I could see whether my impression is right, or whether I'm just insane :P

I voted for Zachary, I like Gregory almost equally as well

I see where the vote is high on Alexander too - too many Alex's of both genders around

lol nobody is voting for my favorite - Jonathan.

Jeremy - Not sure of a nickname, which is an absolute must. {Chris, Liz, Junior, and Nick say so ;)} Jer/Jerry is just not happening, and Remy isn't my favorite. {Sorry Sisi ;) Jem/Jemmy reminds me of that cartoon show on TV when I was a kid}

Alexander - Not sure if I like the sound of Alexander Booker, even if I do like Alex, especially w/ Chris and Nick. I do, also, agree that it is pretty popular....I don't really like it that much, that I'm willing to deal w/ the popularity.

Zachary - I like this but there is again the matter of popularity, and I'm not too keen on the similarity of Nick and Zach.

Gregory is my 2nd favorite; I would use it in a heartbeat {do you just
