Nope, but I DID have a Grandmother named Bobby Ray, spelled just like that!!! As far as this debate on naming a girl a typical boy's name, I think everyone is getting too heated! At least that's how it *sounds* to me. My first baby was to be named Cody Jayne if she'd been a girl, but God saw fit to take her home until a later time. The only reason my dd has a girly name now is because I knew it was my last time to name a girl. I have 3 boys and 1 girl and won't have anymore. My Grandma wasn't "damaged" by having a "boy's name". As a matter of fact, her little brother is Bobby Dale! I guess her parents just really liked that name! They were called B.R. and B.D.T...their initials! IMO, she didn't ask if you approved of the names she chose, but which you liked better. I'm sorry if I sound *ugly*, not meaning to, but I received a BUNCH of smack from everyone for the name Trinity for my dd. It really sucks to get flack for a name you really like and I remember how I felt. I named her that anyway and my only regret is that I wish I would have went all the way and named her Trinity Siobhan instead of Trinity Nichole! Anyway, I've said my mind and I'll get off my soap box now. Thanks for listening!

I am SO sick and tired of people trying to encourage you not to give your dd any of these names, when you already know that you love them. Obviously you know that you want to give your dd one of these names, right? Otherwise you wouldn't have made this poll. I hate it when people sit and complain about how the names you picked aren't feminine, but all you really wanted was to know which one they liked best. I say, if they don't like any of the names, then they shouldn't vote, and keep their mouths shut!! This is your child's name, not theirs!

I think all the names you picked out are great, but I voted for Chandler.

My oldest son is named Blake Ryan so I obviously love both names. I think Ryan would be so cute for a girl.Good luck with choosing.

Were my dh and I hoping for a boy and disappointed that we got a girl? NO. That is not it AT ALL. We are not "making our little girl pay for that disappointment". No offense, but we would never stoop that low. We are very excited that we got a girl, and these are the names we have picked out. We had completely different names picked out for a boy.

And, alexa_rose4, thank you very much for your comment. That is the exact point I am trying to make! I couldn't have said it better myself.

I like Ryan the best but I would spell it Ryanne, which gives it a feminine flair.

I think they are a little too masculine historically, but you can name your daughter whatever you please and she may end up loving her name!
