I said Agnes, then maybe Gladys. I don't like Edith at all. I wouldn't vote on Sylvia b/c I think it's a name that already kind of 'came back" and has a small "following', so to speak... I kind of like the name Agnes, and I've also run into two women with the name Agnes, each of them absolutely stunning!

Doris -- prefer Dora, Eudora, Dorothy, etc.
Edith -- this gmv. The possible nn Edie is also adorable (definitely gives a more youthful option if wanted, KWIM)
Gladys -- can't get into that one, although Glenys or Glynis aren't bad
Agnes -- I quite like this
Sylvia -- nothing wrong with it, but as a pp said, it seems a bit more familiar/common at the moment than the others

I love Edith. That was our name if this baby (due 1-8) had been a girl.

I like the soft sound of Edith.

Sylvia is a gorgeous name, if I were using it, I think I'd pair it with Grace even though it's popular, I wouldn't want something that would overpower it.
