2 virtue names in family?

Is it really too much to have 2 virtue names for your kids? DH is really stuck on the names Hope or Joy for a girl (Hope being his number 1 choice). I like the name Hope, but I'm unsure since we already have a dd Grace. He doesn't care what other people think and thinks we should name baby Hope if it is a girl...is it really that bad to have them match?
My favorite is Sarah, which he likes ok, but he really prefers Hope. I like Hope too, and I like that it is one syllable ending in a silent e just like Luke and Grace (which weren't planned to be the same).

I personally prefer Sarah in this situation, although Hope is a beautiful name.
Another thing to consider, is there a chance you might have more children? If you have yet another girl, will you then worry about continuing the trend vs. having 2 out of 3 girls matching?
Just a thought!

I think if you really love Hope more than any other name and you and dh don't mind using two virtue names then you should use it. That being said, I personally would try to find something else, because I think it's a little cutesy. What if you decide on two or three names and then see what feels right when the baby is born. You might see her and say she couldn't be anything other than Hope! Here are a few other ideas - I'm sure you've seen most of them before, but I love your children's names and it's fun to think of names for their sibling.
Claire/Clare - This is my favorite with Grace and Luke
Mae
Eve or Eva
Blythe
Kate
Rose
Faye
Adele
Ayla
Anna
Gwen
Nina
Mary
Mia
Tessa
My top five are Claire, Mae, Mia, Eve or Eva, and Anna.
Good Luck!
I like the name Hope. In terms of being "matchy" I think it's only an issue when you're faced with one of the extremes - desperately trying to find OR avoid one.
So don't avoid this match b/c of what other people might think. For what it's worth, I don't immediately think of the "virtue" when I hear the name Grace. I do for Hope and Faith.
I love Hope with your kids names. Luke, Grace and Hope - sounds good if you ask me.
