I like the name Addison, with nicknames Addie, Addy. But, Addison comes up as a boys name meaning "Adam, Earth." What do you think about using Addision for a girl?
By the way, I'm new.

I like the name Addison for both a boy and a girl. I prefer it for a boy but not with the nickname Addie, too girly.

not crazy for it for either gender. I know a few of each, boys and girls, old as early 20s, young as nine
too close to the ever-popular Madison too
I have a friend whose son's name is Addison. I really love the name!
I definately thought of it as a boy name right away, but she has had
a lot of people say it sounds more like a girl name. (I think because
it sounds a lot like Madison)
Addison was the last name of an inventor or doctor way back when.
Anyway, Although I would prefer it for a boy, I actually do like
traditionally masculine names used for girls like the names Dylan and
Kennedy.
Mother of Kya Monet(2 1/2) and 30 weeks pregnant with a boy!
