My fiance and I are trying to come up with names for our second child. Mostly we've disagreed, but so far these are the names we have come to agreement on: ASHLEY, SARAH, JAMES and ADAM. I know, I know Ashley is outdated, but it really doesn't matter to us because we do like the name and it goes beautifully with our last name. We have been playing around with these names and came up with the following (so far). Please tell me what you think:
ASHLEY MARIE
ASHLEY ELIZABETH
SARAH MARIE
SARAH ELIZABETH
SARAH MICHELLE
JAMES MATTHEW
JAMES ADAM
ADAM
We haven't come up with a middle name for ADAM yet, so if you can suggest one, that would help. We cannot have ADAM JAMES because JAMES as a middle name is already used in our family. Also, if you can suggest any other middle names for a girl, that would be helpful too. Thanks!

I think Ashley Marie and Sarah Elizabeth are both beautiful names! James Matthew is cute as well.
how about Adam Scott, Adam Robert, Adam Thomas or Adam Christopher?

I really like Sarah and Adam from your list. I just know too many Ashleys, and there are about eight James in my family.
Some possible mns that are less traditional:
Sarah Jane (can use as a double fn)
Sarah Louise
Sarah Laine
Sarah Paige
Sarah Dawn
Sarah Joy (Joy is my favorite mn)
Adam Lucas
Adam Samuel
Adam Jameson (rather than James, could also use Jameson as a fn)
Adam Daniel
Adam Nathaniel
Adam Duncan
AJ, enjoying life with C.
Ashley Elizabeth
James Matthew
Those are my votes! Erin
ASHLEY MARIE - lovely

I like Ashley Elizabeth! Of course, I'm Elizabeth Ashley so I'm a little biased, but I love the names together. Would you consider Elizabeth as the fn? I think it has better flow that way, as others have pointed out that the "ey" and "e" run together a little bit.
For a boy, I really like Adam. What about:
Adam Lucas
Adam David
Adam Nathaniel
Adam Isaiah
Adam Jonathan
Adam Quinton
Is there a male family member you'd like to honor with the middle name? That would be a nice touch.
HTH and good luck!
