Hi I like the middle name Riley but I'm not so sure about the first name Alison.

I would say the opposite of the first poster - I like the name Allison, but I am tired of the name Riley (unless it happens to be a family last name!)

I agree with Carrie. I love Allison. But I'm not fond of the LN as a girl's FN (or in this case MN) trend. If Riley is a family name I have no problem with it though.

The name isn't really my style at all-- I don't like the name Allison, nor do I really like Riley, but for some reason, the name seems to flow well to me. Which is also surprising, b/c typically I would say that it has too many "l"s, but for some reason, the "l"s give the name a more lilting sound, rather than an awkward sound.

Best of luck to you!

I really like it, but since my name is Alison with one L, that is how I personally would spell it. And, I like to spell Riley different for a girl, like maybe Ryleigh or Rylee. So, I'd do Alison Ryleigh or Alison Rylee. Just my opinion, but I do like the sound, very nice!

Hiya,
Thank you for the posting and suggestion. My all time favorite name for my new baby girl is PAYTON RILEY. Everytime I post it on here though someone has all these negative things to say about it. I have wanted this name for a long time, but everyone says its too much of a boys name. Where I'm from it's not popular at all. Please someone tell me I'm not way out on a limb here, but I don't want something original and we already have a daughter named Melissa Marie.

Thanks again,
Trishia
