I really really like the nn Addy/Addie.

I like the name Addisyn/Addison a lot.

I also know that there is Adelaide and Adele (Both im not totally fond of)

Any other names out there that Addy is a nn for?

Preferences on the names above? other possible spellings for Adelaide?

Thanks ladies!

Sorry, but Addison is a masculine name, no matter how you try to femininize it.

Adelle is a pretty name, and you can use the nn Addie.

There's also Adeline & Adelina but out of all the "Addy" names, I adore Adele. It's delicate sounding, feminine, sweet yet strong and easy to spell/pronounce.

Yeah, Addison is way to masculine IMO (it means son of Adam, though I'm sure you knew that). What about

Adrienne/Adriana

Adora/Adara

Ada/Adah

Adeline

Adina

Aderyn (its Welsh, though I'm not sure how to pronounce it)

Ariadne (air-ee-add-nee)

Adair

Adalia

i had to respond to this-its ironic to me because my sister's name is adele louise addison. my family is cajun, and pronounce adele (ah-dell). i like it pronounced that way better.

there is also adelida.

good luck

My friends daughter is named Atalie but they call her Addy. I think it is a really neat and unusual name.
