When you hear the names Angelina and Juliana do you associate them with a certain ethnic group? Or do you think they are universal?
For example, when I hear the name Vincent- I think Italian, Connor- Irish, or Juan - Hispanic/Latino. But a name like Michael, Alexis, or Adrian feel more 'universal' to me.

Thoughts?

I don't associatate them with any ethnic group now, unless they're pronounced with the g/j like H's.

Obviously, every name has a specific ethnic origin, but I don't think that necessarily means only people of that ethnic group can use it! To me, they are just lovely names. Angelina and Juliana are both on my list, and I'm Irish/Scottish/Polish/French.

I think Angelina and Juliana have a lot of universal appeal and usage, so I would need additional clues--such as hispanic surname or an ethnic pronunciation--before I would assume anything.
