The first name is good, I'm guessing it would be pronounced with a long I sound. I don't like the mn at all, and would probably stay away from the "Dream/Heavenly/Destiny" type naming trend.

Jessica

The reason that I don't like the name Aniya is that in the town I live in there is a family with the last name Anaya. Lets just say that they are not the cleanest people.

Sounds like {I Need A Dream}.

I love the name Aniya - and Dream is a nice compliment to that one. We were going to use Aniyah Renee or something like that before it was shot down - but I've heard it's becoming really common especially lately.

Anyway, I still love that name.

I missed the voting on this, but I would've voted "First Name is OK"

I know we're putting much at the "anything goes" stage with regards to turning every day words into names, but I don't recommend it

Aniya Johnson goes together very well and it's not a name you hear a lot, which is good with a surname as common as Johnson- how about Aniya Danae Johnson

good luck
