I don't think it's necessary to use another K name. I know of one family that had 2 girls with H names; their third daughter has a T name. No big deal for anyone.

Good luck and congratulations.

I say pick a name you LOVE and don't limit yourself to just K names. You will say the name at least twenty times a day so it's important that it is your absolute favorite name. It really doesn't matter if it doesn't start with the same letter as the others IMO.

I know a family that has all J names (including the dog). But, I also know families that have some kids with one letter and other with other letters.
Family #1: G (g), J (b), J (b)
Family #2: K (g), K (g), W (b)

I'm sure if I thought about it more I could come up with more examples of families that had one child without a matching initial. But, I wouldn't worry about it. I honestly don't think anything of it.

I think if there is another K name you LOVE then you should use it, but if not, don't force a name to fit just because it starts with a K. That is just my opinion. Good luck deciding, and either way, K or no K, I wouldn't see it as strange, just go with somthing you love.

I agree with many of the pps ... use a name you love, and if it happens to be another K name, fine, if not, that's fine too. I think your daughter will be much happier knowing you gave her a name you loved for her rather than simply the K name you liked the most to try and match her siblings, KWIM?

when I was a kid I knew families that had some kids with matching and then a sibling or two or more who didn't! I never thought anything of it. Now as an adult, it bothers me to hear of kids who have all matching except one. I don't know why. I'm just weird that way, LOL. It doesn't really make a huge difference in the real world, especially once they are adults.

I just want to let you know that I understand your question. I posted a question like this and got the same resoponse as you have gotten, "pick the name you love" "dont worry about it" blah blah blah, I have 5 kids, Jack, Katelynn, Krysten, Noah, and Kara. If I have a boy I already know we will name him Michael, but I struggle with what to name a girl. Should it be a "K" name? Our last name starts with a "C" but sounds like a "K" and I think that it sounds good. will baby girl #4 be 'left out'? I don't know. And honestly, I am glad there is someone else who has the same struggle as me, I also mentioned that I would like a longer name for my last baby because Krysten has the long name. we have always called Katelynn, Kate so with 4 kids having 4 letter names then Krysten having a 7 letter name I consider it a long name. but there was a post on my question saying they didn't think Krysten was a longer name but I consider it almost 2 times longer then my other kids. So, I said all that to say I dont know!! haha, What kind of "K" names have you thought of for your last girl?

You asked, so I'm going to answer honestly---

Most people will disagree with me. At this point they will say, you should continue the trend.

ON THE CONTRARY- I say here's your chance to keep all three of their names from sounding ultra-cutesy, like a boxed set...

Some ideas that come to mind-

Kayla, Kyle - descending no. of letters 5, 4, next child- Mia, Sky, Lia, Ben, Sam, etc.

Or go to the next letter of the alphabet- L- Kayla, Kyle & Liam, Luke, Lauren, Liza, etc.

If it were me, I'd just find a name you both love that sounds good with Kayla & Kyle-

Some that sound like siblings are-

Kayla, Kyle & Anna
Kayla, Kyle & Natalie
Kayla, Kyle & Breanna
Kayla, Kyle & Toree
Kayla, Kyle & Raina
Kayla, Kyle & Mallory
Kayla, Kyle & Miranda

Kayla, Kyle & Nathan
Kayla, Kyle & Bryce
Kayla, Kyle & Grant
Kayla, Kyle & Dane
Kayla, Kyle & Tanner
Kayla, Kyle & Seth

*I also really like Mia or Luke from my suggestions above!!!*

Best wishes, Ginger

I had a dd and a dd w/ 'E' names and then we went with a 'C' name for our third. The only problem I am having is that I am looking for names for a 4th dc and do not want to use an E name and have just one left out. It just seems like I gravitate to 'e' sounds - go figure! Good luck!
