You might try checking out www.babynamesofireland.com and seeing if anything grabs you. It's a great site -- very accurate, and you can even hear the names spoken.
If nothing else, it may help narrow down the type of name you're looking for. Just asking for "good Irish names" will no doubt return a slew of Aidan, Connor, Owen, Liam suggestions (and there's nothing wrong with that, but I'm guessing if that's all you wanted you'd have gone with one of them already, popular/common as they are). ;)
BOYS Ardan (Ar-dawn) Bevan Cathan/ Cavan Cael Cian/Kain/Kane/Keane Darran Declan Dillon - this name is different to the Welsh Dylan Dugan Eamon (Aim-an) Finn/Fionn/Fintan Keegan Kieran Nevin Niall Oisin/Ossian (Osh-een, Oss-ee-an) Reamon (Ray-mon) Rogan/Ronan Scanlan Seamus (Shay-mus) Sean (Shaun) Shea (Shay) Tiernan/Tierney
I haven't included the "common" Irish names. Hope some of these help. Another option is to use family surnames that special to you - I knew some one whose mother's maiden name was Roughan, so he was named Rohan. Also Irish place names may be another idea eg Derry, Tyrone, Cavan, Kerry, Shannon etc.
Where to begin? LOL

I love Maeve for a girl. It is pronounced like Dave but with an M. It is very feminine and underused.
