Anyone change completely at 11th hour?

Just wondering how common it is to see the baby and say "ack! I can't name him/her X like I had planned". If you have any experience with this, please share. Also, if you did change your mind at the last minute have you ever regretted it?
I got to thinking about this, incidentally, because I was chatting with a friend that did this exact thing and she says she still can't believe she has a daughter named Carly. They had planned on Eve but then she was born and her husband said "Carly" and that's what they went with. She likes the name but says it's so far from the names she typically likes. Carly is now four and suits the name 100%.

I don't know about Actually changing your mind at the last hour, but I'd be careful of it. We had Lillian Ariana picked out for months and the day after she was born I thought (in my weird post-preggo state of mind) that we should have named her Sarah Grace like my mom had wanted. I was so convinced for like a day and then I was fine and was glad we named her what we did.
Also 2nd dd is Naomi. It has grown on me. DH chose Naomi from my medium list and it took awhile for it to settle with me. But it fits her perfectly!

Yep--we did it with our second son. Before he was born, we had settled on Joel or Brett. I wanted Joel and DH wanted Brett. Then when he was born, we both said, "Huh. He doesn't look like a Joel OR a Brett!" The next morning I was just staring at him and his name popped in my head and I couldn't let it go. I woke my DH up (who was sleeping on one of those lovely hospital chairs !) and asked him about the name "Aaron" and he thought about it for a few seconds and agreed. So now he is Aaron Michael and we just love it. I can't imagine him being called any other name!
