Hey Ladies,

I need a bit of help. My DH is determined to name his future son Christopher Robin, but I can't do that to my child, so I'm wondering if you might know of any variations of this name? I'm more of

I like christopher well enough, but agree that to name the child Christopher Robin is a little out there. even to vary it to Robert would still seem too familiar and close to Robin

here are some Christopher mns that I like

Christopher Andrew, Christopher Douglas, Christopher Jackson, Christopher Matthew, Christopher Michael, Christopher Lucas, Christopher Nathan, Christopher Patrick, Christopher Scott.

good luck

I have a Christopher Rocco (named Rocco after my dh) and I did think at the time it sounded pretty close to Christopher Robin. He is 17 and nobody has ever teased him because it was close. Most children would never know what each others middle names were. He was lucky and from K-6th grade he never had another Chris in his class. Now my dd is named Emily Elizabeth (middle name after my best friend) and she has never been teased either. It might be easier for a girl because she thinks its cute to have the same name as the girl from Clifford the Big Red Dog.

I do think that both of you need to like the name you are using for your child. If you don't like one or both names you both should come up with something you both like.
