Are your dreams accurate?

Currently I am 15 weeks pregnant with baby #3. I had strong feelings both times before that I was having boys, and I did. (We did not find out the sex beforehand.) BUT, during those pregnancies, I don't remember having any dreams telling me it was a boy, just *feelings* I had with the first, and I knew when I concieved the 2nd (TCOYF used and worked for both previous pregnancies!)

Anyway........in the early weeks of this pregnancy, weeks within finding out that I was pregnant, I had a dream that it was a girl. And we named her, get this, Zahara. Don't ask me where the name came from. Both my husband and I giggled at that.

My question is this, has anyone else had dreams and were they correct?

Well, maybe I am not the one to be posting an answer b/c I was wrong with my "feelings" every single baby.

Is that where the name came from???? It was one of those names where DH and I sat and tried to figure out where it came from. I think I will be sticking with my name choices that I have so fat, but I am sure those will change by the time the baby is due!

Thanks!

When I pregnant with my DD I was certain she was going to be a boy. I had dreamt she was a boy from the very beginning of my pregnancy, and low and behold she was a girl. I was shocked, but happy. I still remember the doctor saying "It's a girl", and thinking what..a mother should know what's she's having! LOL Then when I pregnany with my DS, I dreamt he was a girl who we named Josephine Jade (not sure where the name came from). I thought he would be a boy since the opposite occured when I pregnant with DD. During both pregnancies the dreams were so vivid and real, but I had the opposite of what I dreamt. Weird...

I have 4 boys. With my 1st 2 I had no ideas whatsoever. With #3 I had many dreams & felt strongly it was a boy. With #4 95% of my dreams were of a baby GIRL & I felt VERY strongly I was having a girl. BUT he's not a girl!

Some might tell you your dreams do tell you your baby's gender. In my guess I'm averaging 50% right ... but 50% wrong! I think it was strong wishful thinking on my part.

That's what I was thinking about my dream that this baby is a girl......I already have 2 boys and a part of me wants a girl so badly! But there is that other part that loves my boys so much that another boy would be a blessing!

With my first pregnancy I was convinced it was a boy, but all my dreams were about girls, and low and behold we had a girl!
This pregnancy I had dreams right from the moment of conception that I was having twins and it was a boy and a girl, and I was right! Crazy huh?

In my family, everyone who's had a dream about their baby has been right. If they dreamt about a girl, it was a girl, and if it was about a boy, it was a boy. But that might just be a family thing, or pure coincidence. Best advice, if you're waiting to find out the sex when the baby is born, don't buy clothes or things based on dreams. My cousins were told it was a girl, and they had a boy - and they didn't even want to find out! Good luck!
