Asking you pro's

Wow, there's a baby name board. I guess I'll share my name ideas and hope you pro's aren't too harsh, lol.
My mom passed away unexpectedly in June so I would like to remember her with a name for a boy or a girl.
Girl:
Carsyn Irene (or Carsen)
Addison Irene
my mom's name is Irene
Boy:
Trevor Garreth
Garreth Trevor
My mom was going to name me Garreth if I was a boy and my dad's name is Trevor.

Hi there, Linsdey. Your little girl is so cute! Here are my thoughts on names for #2-
Carsyn Irene (or Carsen)-This is nms for a girl. It sounds very masculine. I do actually know sisters named Camryn & Carsen though. They fit well together, I just personally think that Carson is a boy name.
Addison Irene-This is better. I still perfer Addison for a boy, but at least Addie is a sweet nn.
my mom's name is Irene-I like Irene as a fn! Maybe that'd be too much to actually share the same name as your mother, so maybe something simalar to Irene for a fn? Iris is a lovely choice. Or simply something sharing the same letter, or your mothers' initials perhaps. What do you think of Ivy or Isabel? I like Camryn & Ivy together. Here are a few more unisexish girl names that you might like-
Alex(andra/andria)
Cassidy
Frankie as a nn for Francesca maybe? I think Frankie is too cute for a girl.
Hayley
Joey as a nn for Johanna or Josephine or something of the sort.
Maxine nn Maxie...I love this.
Nickie...ooh, what do you think of Danica nn Nickie? Danica & Camryn would be cute.
Sam/Sami as a nn for Samantha or Samara
Boy:
Trevor Garreth -That's great!
Garreth Trevor-I like this one a lot too. I perfer the Gareth spelling, but whichever is more signifigant to you I guess works.
Trevor seems to fit in nicer w/big sister Camryn's name. What do you think of Trevor Ira to honour you mom? That's handsome!
Hope this helps.
Hi Lindsey,
Your little girl is adorable and I really like her name. Here are my thoughts...
I love the idea of using your mom's name as a mn to honor her. And I really like Irene as a mn in general. I think it flows really well.
Carsyn/Carsen - I actually really prefer the Carson spelling. Of the two you are choosing between though, I like Carsen. The y really throws me for some reason. And I think that Camryn and Carsen are cute together, but Camryn and Carsyn are TOO cute and matching.
Addison - I like Addison a lot. I REALLY love the nn Addie. I went to college with a girl named Addie who was super cute and friendly. Camryn and Addison go well together. And they don't have the same first letter, which could be nice.
A note on the "C" thing - I'm not a person who is automatically opposed to siblings with matching first initials. In fact, I think it can be really nice sometimes. However, if you are planning on having a large family, you might want to consider whether you really want to start a pattern and continue it. Because I do think it's weird to have four kids that start with C and one that starts with another random letter. OR it's really frustrating to feel like you HAVE to pick another C name so that child doesn't feel left out when there isn't another C name you really love. Just something to think about.
Trevor - not a huge favorite of mine, but a nice solid name that works at any age. I think you should use it as a mn to honor your father the same way you want to use Irene.
Garreth - I really like this one. It's different and not very popular, but without being weird. And the emotional connection is really nice. I really like the combo Garreth Trevor.
Good luck!
Addison Irene &
Trevor Garreth
I think these two are fabulous.
