I don't think it is right for a girl, but that is my opinion.

I disagree with everyone who has responded to this posting. Austin (spelled with an "i") is a great name for a girl. It is different, difficult to make fun of, and I think it is very cute. I am considering this as a first name for my possible daughter to be born in September. If I have a girl her possible name would be Austin Georgette (middle for her grandmother).

I don't like it, but the reason I don't is because of the way you spelled it.

I like it and I like it with the "Y" cuz it makes it different. but that's me. I like different names, I don't like to be part of the crowd. Just give her a girly middle name that goes with it.

No. But if you really love it and can't imagine naming her anything else, please spell it Austin. The y makes it even worse.

I don't like it myself. I prefer it for a boy and with the original spelling. Although I do like to change spellings, I just prefer the original one for this one.
