Love the name Brayden! Brantly is one I am unsure about. I can't say that I hate it, but I think it sounds more male sounding to me. Brielle, Brynn, Bethany, and Brianna are a few that popped into my head for suggestions. Love Brayden though!

I think that the mn's you have picked out are great- I love James and Gwen, but the first names need some re-thinking. First of all, are you sure you want to continue with the Br- theme. Personally, it sounds a bit cheesy to me, and if you have more kids they will have to use this too and it will become very hard to think of names. As for the names you have chosen, Brayden is really popular, especially with all the -ayden names, and Brantly is not a very nice name at all IMO. How about Brock, Brent, Brielle, Bria, or Brianne?

At first glance, I thought you had posted the names of your sons below the post (Brayden and Brantly), so I'd have to say the name definitely struck me as masculine (it really wasn't even a question until I read the entire post). Plus, it's a bit too close to Bentley, as in the car, and just looks kind of choppy (maybe Brantley or a similar spelling would look more complete?).

As to other suggestions, not sure if you wanted to stick to Br- names or just B- in general, so here's a list of boy and girl names starting with Br-

http://www.babycenter.com/babyname/results.jhtml?_DARGS=%2Fbabyname%2Findex.jhtml

Of these, I think Brandon/Brendon, Brighton/Bryton, Broderick or Brice/Bryce for a boy and Breila (not on the list, but a form of Briana), Brenna, Brielle, Briar, Brietta, Briony or Branwen for a girl would work well (although Branwen wouldn't work with mn Gwen, unfortunately).

If you want B names in general, here's a HUGE list (I'll admit, I didn't have time to look through all these, but there are a bunch!):

HTH! :)

I love the name Baron for a boy, but I can't think of girl name that starts with a B.
My son's name is Baron. It is a very uncommon name. He is 5 years old & we have never met anyone else with this name. Not sure how you will feel about the name but, we get a lot of compliments.

How about names like Barbara, Brenda, or Betty (our 11 year old neighbors name). I bet they will be the only ones in their class with any of those names. I also don't care for Brantly for a boy or a girl. I have a friend with Brantly for a last name.

I have to say I'm not sold on Brantly for a girl but I do like Brayden.

Here are some suggestions for B names for a girl:

Bridget Gwen
Briony Gwen
Bethan Gwen
Belinda Gwen
Bella Gwen

I especially like Bethan Gwen and Bridget Gwen xxx
