i want a good unisex name for my baby, and if not unisex, maybe a boy name thats not too common or too masculine.
the fellas in my family seem to think these names are too "girly".. what do you think?? i would appreciate it if you could add any names to my list or give me some opinions on these!!
thank you!!
ryland
julian
jaden
grayson
leavi
...and thats what i've got so far

All of them are really cute names. A friend of my cousins just had a little boy Kyler. Good Luck! and CONGRATS!
Tiffany
ryland, jaden & grayson
Some other ideas:
Elliott nn Eli
Everett
Graham
Ashton
Cole
Sebastian
Melissa
Mom to Scott Nicholas, Wyatt Christopher, and Phoebe Jane
ryland- This name is OK, but I would pair it with a masculine mn. Maybe Ryland Patrick or something, so he can choose to go by the middle name.
julian- I love this name for a boy, it just has a cool feeling to it. Julian Michael would be nice.
jaden- I do not like this name at all. It's far too trendy for my liking and even the variant spellings does nothing to make it any less common.
grayson- LOVE this!!! I prefer -son names for boys rather than girls, and I think this is an adorable name. It's on our list.
leavi- If it was spelled Levi, this would be my choice for you. It's my top boys name right now. IMO it has a tough/rugged feel to it, not girly at all!
really? i've never heard jaden before.
thanks for all of your suggestions!! the only reason i do not like leavi spelled like levi is because of the jeans. that may sound dumb, but i would rather spell it some other way. guess my options are kind of limited on that one.

Jaden, Caden, Kaden, Braden -- with dozens of alternative/creative spellings -- they're everywhere lately. Girl Jadens, Jaedens and Jadyns, boy Jadens, Jadons and Jaydens. I used to like some of these names, but I seem to live in the Braden/Caden capital of the world, so I've pretty much lost interest by this point.
ryland - Lots and lots of Ryan/Riley variants lately, and Ryland is one of them. I also see Rylan, Brylan, and Bryland. And for girls, Rilyn, Ryleigh, Bryleigh, etc. To me, they all run together and are not very interesting as a result. But Ryland is an OK name, in and of itself.
julian - I've never seen this used for a girl, but maybe some people see it as "girly" because kids might shorten it to Julie? Not sure. Personally, I like Julian, and Julius even better. I also like Jude and Judah -- not that they're similar in style, but a little bit similar in sound.
grayson - I've maxed out on this one for boys and girls.
leavi -- Not sure about this spelling, but Levi is a cool name! Maybe Levy, if you don't care for Levi?
Jayden (variant spelling) is Britney Spears' youngest son's name, and it seems like celebrity names always go up in popularity, so it'll probably get even more popular than it already was.

I hear you.
