Help! I need help deciding. My DH and I are down to 2 names but I get to make the final decision and i can't figure it out! We are down to Zoe Makena and Sasha Makena. Zoe means life and Sasha means defender of mankind. Any thoughts?

I love Sasha. It is so pretty and underused. Zoe is nice, but a bit juvenile, I can't picture it on anyone over age 10. As for the mn, what is your reasoning for Mekena? Not on is it very trendy, but you have mispelled it! I would choose a name with meaning for the mn, or at least something spelled properly.

I love Sasha, gorgous choice! Makena is not my favorite, but if it a family name or holds special meaning I can get behind it.

I really like the name Zoe and I don't think of it as being juvenile at all.

Hi,

I actually love Zoe Makena .. I think it has a strong, funky, youthful ring to it!

Good Luck!

Oh! Well then in that case, I love it for you. Sorry if I sounded harsh about it, but I hear a lot of trendy/mispelled names on this board picked without any reasoning behind them, so I have written posts like that many times before. But in your case, I really like it.

I love both and i think you will be happy with either one. Sasha MaKena sounds a little sing-songy but is still a great name. Zoe Makena is very spunky. I love the meaning of the mn. take both to the hospital and wait til you meet your little one. Let her choose her name. Congratulations and good luck!

I have never been a fan of Zoe, and I really like Sasha, so my vote is easily Sasha Makena. Good luck deciding.
