I am 23 weeeks pregnant and just found out its a girl! This is my 3rd baby and already have 2 boys so am very excited... but then started thinking about names and just can't find that perfect name for our little girlie!

Names I think I like so far are Ellie and Mia but my partner hates Mia and not sure about Ellie!

Our 2 boys are Archie and Dylan and ideally would like something that sounds good with these. W names are out because of our last name.

HELP!!!

Congratulations! I think Archie and Dylan are very different styles, so there's not a lot of need to 'match' names. They're both great names though.

Some ideas:

Maggie
Ruby
Cassidy
Jenna
Rebecca
Jillian
Celia/Cecilia
Abigail
Claudia
Holly
Amelia
Jane

Looks like you are drawn to short names, me too :) Since Archie and Dylan are so different, I have given you a mix of names. Any of these appeal to you? If not let me know so I can give you some more.

Ellie is waaay too nicknamey and popular. Archie is ADORABLE and Dylan is really great too, I just don't think Ellie fits. Mia, as well, is becoming more popular. How about...

Cordelia nn Delia/Cora/Cori

Adele

Belinda nn Bindy

Miranda

Rhoslyn

Simone

Corinne

Elise

Ruby

Scarlett

Wilhemina

Archie and Dylan are great names - very different from each other, but they go great together. It's hard to think of a girl's name that *wouldn't* go well with them! I like Mariel, Serena, Estella, Star, Gina, Ava, Sophie, Cassandra, Jessamine . . .

I have to disagree with some of the others who think Archie and Dylan are such different styles. Both have obvious Celtic feels to me, Archie being a common name/nn in Scotland and Dylan being Welsh, but still common in Scotland (and sounding nearly identical to the Irish name Dillon). Both names are also quite popular in the UK (top 40, to be exact), so anything with a sort of British vibe would make perfect sense. I'd go with something along those lines for this little girl. ;)

Archie, Dylan and ...

Isla (eye-la)
Fiona/Fiora/Flora
Carys
Lorna
Niamh (Neve)
Ruby
Matilda
Talulla
Eloise
Gemma
Gwyneth
Imogen
Margaret (Maisie, Maggie)
Harriet
Alice (as a rule, I'd try to avoid repeating initials, but Alice works )
Moira/Maura/Mary (Molly)
Ena/Enya
Elspeth (Elsa)
Finola/Nola
Orla
Ida
Mavis/Maeve

Hi there. Congrats on your little girl!

I really like Archie & Dylan. Those are both handsome, but still fun & spunky at the same time.

I love the name Mia, & think that it fits in well. Too bad that dh doesn't like it.

Ellie is very cute, & fits in well too. Would you consider it as a nn instead though?

Here are some more ideas that might work w/Archie & Dylan:
