Baby girl names

2 new babies were born into our family. Altho I would never say anything to the parents about their kids names I am not sure they sound so good. Please let me know if you think these names sound ok. Maybe, I am wrong and they sound fine.
First baby is Idalia (pronounced Eye da lee a) Eileen Anderson
Second baby is Ella Elise Anderson
These babies are NOT sisters!
Thanks for any opinions on these 2 names!

I have never heard Idalia pronounced that way. The way you spell it out, I don't like it very much with Eileen. It sounds heavy. But pronounced like in Greek: "eye-DAYL-ya," I do like it. Idalia Eileen... I feel dorky for putting it this way, but it sounds sunshine on a bubbling stream. Idalia Eileen.
Ella Elise I *really* like. I think it depends on what kind of accent you have. I can see how this name would sound like a stutter if you say "Elluh Uhlise," or it could be run together to sound like "Ellalise," but as "ELL-ah ee-LISE," it just sounds like the name is just naturally meant to be. Like Sarah Elizabeth or Ava Elaine. Same sounds.
I like them both the way I say them :) But yeah, Idalia Eileen pronounced like Vidalia (as in the city in Georgia or the onion that's named for it) without a "v" is clunky.
Well I don't have a problem with any of the names seperately, but they are, shall we say, a bit vowel heavy when mushed all together. LOL The way they're pronouncing Idalia sounds exactly like the beginning of the mn Eileen, and Ella Elise has the same problem (unless they're using the long EE sounding beginning pronunciation rather than the short E?). Still both seem akin to naming a baby Ava Avery or Mary Marilyn, if you KWIM. So, no, you're not alone in thinking they sound a bit "off" ... but don't tell your family I said so! ;)

Idalia is certainly unique but it's pretty IMO.
I also LOVE Ella; Ella Anderson doesn't have a wonderful flow but it goes well enough.
Thought of this post when I was watching A Baby Story with Kaitlyn earlier. They named their baby girl Devyn Tressa (which I like, despite the trendy spelling). Their last name? Devoe. So for all intents and purposes, Devyn Devoe. Same beginning letter (ok, same THREE beginning letters), same prominent middle V sound, same number of syllables. It actually made me want to stress Devyn incorrectly to make it even more rhymey (think Duran Duran LOL) ... de-VYN de-VOE. hehehe I'm bad. ;)

Funny what you find when you Google you're kids names. I realize that this post is over 8 years old, but I couldn't resist to respond to this.
I just wanted to explain the logic of the naming our girl Devyn DeVoe. She was named with a Y not because we wanted to be "trendy", but because it just seemd to make the name more feminine. As we figured, looking at her name people never questioned if she was a boy or girl. Devin, Devon, Devan, Devin was a transgender name when just pronounced.
The actual name came about because the wife and I could not settle on a name for months. Then one day my mom suggested an allteration. My brain went into overdrive and out came the ultimate allteration (next to Duran Duran) that is DEVyn DEVoe. Funny never thought to pronounce it de-VYN de-VOE, THAT was pretty funny.
Thanks for the laugh.
