Hi!

I love Natalie Brielle. It's such a pretty, feminine combination.

I am not so crazy about Kyleigh. It just seems so "cutesy" and all of the Kay__ and Ky__ names are becoming popular. If you use it, I like the simpler Kylie spelling.

Out of your 3 girls' names, I would rank Kaylah Brooke after Natalie Brielle. But again, I like Kayla spelled this way, without the extra "h."

Have you considered Brooke as a fn? That's pretty and very versatile. It sounds good on all ages!

Out of your boys names, I like Brandon the best, but I probably would not name my son as a "junior." I agree it can be confusing and cause some problems.

I like Isaak second best (I would probably go with Isaac, but I'm pretty traditional with boys' names). Ike is a really cute nn.

No offense, but your choices sound like the choices of a 19-year old. Brielle is not a name at all--it's just a recently invented sound people have chosen to call their children. You misspelled Kylie and Kayla, but neither of them are favorites of mine anyway. Marie is a filler middle name (like Anne-boring!), and it's way 80s (there were 8--yes EIGHT--girls in my class with that middle name). Danielle and Brooke are dated, although I prefer Brooke over Danielle.

I love the names Natalie and Isaac (spelled the right way, like in the Bible, not with a k). I'm hoping you meant to type James rather than Jamaes, and if so, then Isaac James is a lovely name--my favorite of all those on your list. I'm not crazy about Brandon, mostly I agree with you about the junior thing. Also, the name is sort of late 80s, early 90s (makes me think of Beverly Hills, 90210). Coy's a great name for a boy, though...maybe he'd let you just pass that one on?

About Kaiden...all those names are getting way to popular. And, they're spelled about a million different ways...Caden, Caeden, Kaedan, Kaydon, etc., etc., etc. I hate 'em all.

Good luck, and congratulations on your upcoming wedding. What names does your fiance want?

Of all your names, if I mix and match, I like Natalie Brooke and Isaac James. I also like Coy James, Coy Anthony, Isaac Anthony, and Anthony James.

ab2203~Wow I'm not even 19 and I am offended! I don't think she intended on having her choices ripped apart by anyone on this board. Constuctive criticism is good, telling her what you did isn't constructive. People have different feelings about names and if she likes the way it sounds...even if it is "boring" then let her like it without feeling second class. I have the middle name marie and it happens to be a family name...I guess I am boring. Pardon my rant but I think you are being a bit harsh.

Amber (most likely not a good enough name for you)

Hi!
I'm also new to the boards and Im also a "baby name addict" I'm close to engaged and I know that we'll have kids within a few years. I can't wait! I really liked your names too-especially Brielle!
As for the person who seems to think every name in the world is bad and ugly and wrong except for the names (and spellings) they have personally approved, all I have to say is everyone has their own opinion! I dont think theres anything wrong with inventing new names, its creative and unique. After all, they were the one complaining about having 8 Maries, right??
Anyways, if anyone has any interest or input, these are some of my current favorite names.....
Ava
Audrey (my all time favorite one i think!)
Ailyn (pronounced EYE-lin)
Britta
Holland
Merrit
Hallie
Marin/Maren (MAR-in)
Annika
and for boys...
Andrew (my very favorite for boys)
Caden
Brooklyn
Matthew
Cole
Aiden/Aidan
Let me know what you think!

I don't mean to sound rude, ab2203, but Brielle most certainly is a name. It's French and means "Exalted Goddess". I found that on www.babynames.com and on www.babynamesworld.com/profile/php?seostats=1&name=Brielle . I also found it as a short form of Gabrielle AND as a name for a region in France known for it's cheeses on multiple websites. And, although I agree with you about Marie being a "filler mn", you were quite harsh with the way you tore it, and all of her other names down. She may be only 19, but there are children MUCH younger than her having babies and as she stated she and her fiance are not planning children for a while, so I don't really understand why you were so hard on her, or what her age had to do with it. It's one thing to say that you dislike a name and why, that's your right and the purpose of this board, however, I really don't think that it was necessary to word it in the way you did. It seemed very offensive.

As for the names I think they were all beautiful, although, as I said, Marie, to me is a filler name. There were many, many girls mn Marie that I went to school with, including myself. I would caution you against using it UNLESS, it has family meaning (like mine), or it doesn't bother you how popular it is.

HTH, and again, I did not mean to sound rude, ab2203, but I just wanted to make sure you were aware of how harsh you came across.
