After discussing names and pairing them with kyndall, we decided that names that start with a K werent the best option so now we are back to where we started. I do think names that go the best with kyndall are names with a K or a Y in them. Taryn is out because of a little girl i know. Also we are looking for short one syllable mn. Remember I dont like anything too feminine like Josephine elizabeth charlotte even though those names sound great they arent my style.

Names I like:

Girls-

Delaney

Brooke

Sydney

Brecken

Skylar

Boys:-Having more trouble with boys

Teagan

Hayden

I'm a little confused, maybe I haven't read enough of your posts to know the history. Is Kyndall the last name?

If so, I disagree that names with a K in them would sound best. Brooke for instance, especially, it ends in K sound, then Kyndall starts with the same sound, it's a difficult transition, runs together. Brecken is not as bad, but the K sounds will be very close together and it's a very hard dominant sound.

I don't feel that Skylar and Kyndall work well together at all either. Delaney and Sydney are your best options.

on the boys side - I've always thought Teagan was a girls name. I've never heard that for a boy. and Hayden is unisex, but I know far more girls with it.

good luck.

I don't know if anyone else already pointed this out, but I have seen Teagan and Hayden being suggested for girls quite frequently on this board.

For your girl names, I like Delaney a LOT. In fact, I think I like that the best from your list. I also like Sydney--I think it is dark and mysterious. I like Brecken the least from your girl list...it just sounds a little harsh to me, and it reminds me of Breck shampoo. But Delaney or Sydney are great!!!

Best wishes!

Funny, I think I'm vastly outnumbered again, but I am a HUGE fan of Breckin. In fact if I ever had a third child (which I won't) and it were another daughter, her name would be Breckin!

I think your girl list is great with Kyndall. Personally, I've seen A LOT of Skylars and Delaneys recently. Kyndall isn't nearly as popular as these two. And personally I think Brook isn't quite unique enough with Kyndall. I do think ANY of them is a nice fit, though.

Combos- Delaney Rae, Skylar Page, Brook Morgan, Sydney Lane, **Brecken Sage**

Where I am, Hayden is used solely for boys. But I don't think that's the case in other regions. I, like the other posters, think of Teagan for a girl.

I also think there are some great names out there to go with Kyndall that don't have a K or Y in them. So I came up with lists for both ways-

Girls- (with K or Y)- Devyn, Brinley, Larsyn, McKay, Gracyn (though I like it better spelled Gracen, Emersyn, Ellyson, Ellery, Hadley, Gaynor, Jessamyn, Brynnan, Darynne (duh-rinn), Bellamy, Bellyn, Avery, Aydree, Waverly, Wetherly, Camdyn, Braylen, Ayla, Arleigh/Arly, Brantley, Romy/Rominy, Ivy, Ryan

Others I like with Kyndall- Arden, Spencer, Chandler, Channing, Windsor(could be Wyndsor), Greer, Darrien, Gracelee, Erienne, Adrienne, Tate/Tatum, Maren, Malone, Sloane, Brogan, Rhiannon, Adaire, Sheridan, Willow

Boys (with K or Y)- Drake, Hartley, Burke, Curry, Breck, Brock, Ramsey, Brayden, Bryson, Brody, Brady, Grady, Gray, Cagney, Rafferty(love nn Rafe with Kyndall too), Tyson, Berkeley, Rourke

Others I like with Kyndall- Afton, Leland, Bram, Asher, Garrison, Anders, Dane, Brennan, Hagan, Shaw, Turner, Pate, Rory, Ridge, Hunt, Nolan, Talbot, Channing, Chancellor, Maddux, Seldon, Abbott, Sadler, Graham, Stefan, Cason, Chet, Treighton/Trayton, Ames, Brigham, Brogan, Mantz, Leverett, Barrett, Rainer, Brandt

This was a fun post... I think b/c most of the names I suggested came straight off the list of names I used for naming my own kids! Keep us posted, please! Good luck, Ginger, mom to Grantson Metz & Wellsley Michae (pro. McKay) ((Included my kids' names b/c I think we have very similar taste))
