Hello Ladies:
I am a first time mom expecting a girl on May 15. My husband and I have agreed that her first name is going to be Baylee and her middle name we are having problems with. Our Last name is Taylor. My name is Melody Lorene and she will have 2 sisters from his first wife their name are Sierra Laurenn and Cheyenne Alexis. So if any of you have any ideas on what would be a great middle name for Baylee please help
Thanks Mel

I don't really like Baylee very much, sorry. I think it's very abrupt sounding and I prefer it spelt Bailey.
Baylee/Bailey and Taylor being unisex names, I would put a really feminine name in the middle if you're really set on using that fn (and yes, I realize Taylor is your ln, I just mean to make the complete name look like a girl's name rather than a bunch of could be a boy/could be a girl names strewn together, KWIM?). Perhaps something like Rose (my favorite), Eve, Elizabeth, etc. Not necessarily those exact names, since obviously certain E names wouldn't go well with Baylee since it ends in the ee sound, but names like these, if you get my point. Something traditionally and undeniably feminine.
Unisex names aside, I also thought I should point out that Baylee Taylor is quite rhymey, in case you hadn't noticed. Something about the -ayl- sound stuck right in the middle of both names makes the flow just a bit too far "off," if you know what I mean. I know how annoying it can be when you really like a name that doesn't flow well with your last name (with our ln, McCormick, pretty much anything containing a prominent -or- sound is out ... ie. Cora, Norah, Laura, etc.). See what I mean?
Maybe avoid those problems altogether by using Baylee as the mn? Anyway, just a thought! Good luck!

I am sorry to say that Baylee/Bailey is not my first choise for girls name as I have only heard it used for boys. Also, Baylee and Taylor are both generally unisex names so I feel that the middle name should be something very feminine so that people do not get confused as to if it a girl or boy and finally Baylee Taylor sounds very rhythmic and melodic - probably because both have strong 'L' sounds? Maybe have Baylee as the middle name?
Here are some suggestions if you are set on Baylee as the first name -
Baylee Marie Taylor
Baylee Mae/May Taylor
Baylee Claire/Clare Taylor
Baylee Emma Taylor
Baylee Kate Taylor
Baylee Jade/Jayde
Baylee Rose Taylor
Baylee Sian Taylor
Baylee Jane Taylor
But, in the end the decsion is yours and as long as you are happy, then that is that matters!!
All the best,
Claire
Baylee Leann Taylor - I think it's pretty but her initals would be BLT....:) Cute but not sure how you feel about what initals spell out to be!??
