Hmmmm...I'm not too sure how you would pronounce Biance...I guess I'm assuming you would pronounce it like Beyonce.

I like Bianca if that's what you were meaning. I don't like Biance if you meant it like Beyonce the singer. Too trendy.

I don't care for Ophelia.

Skye is pretty, but I prefer it as a nn to Skylar or as a middle name.

when my husband and I were deciding names for our now almost 2 year old, it was a toss up between Skye and Abagail. Needless to say we picked Skye and her name fits her. One thing to think about is how will her name affect her when she enters the job force. Skye is a neutral name, so employers can't be biased when selecting people for interviews. It's ashame that sex is still a factor. So I would like to think that my girl will have an advantage over others.

One other thing to think about, which we didn't is how her name will fit in with everyday life. It's kind of weird saying 'hi Skye', 'bye Skye', etc. and teaching her about the skye and all the different things in it is weird.

Now we're trying to decide on a boy's name for her little brother, who will be born any day now.
