I never thought naming my children would be so hard! Then you throw a husband in the mix and all the names I liked growing up are down the drain! The twins will be born sometime around Christmas, I've always loved the name Anna Noelle. But DH doesn't. I think I can talk him into using Noelle as a middle name, but now I need a first name. We have decided on Luke Thomas for the boy. We like Elizabeth (family name) and call her Ella, but are not crazy about it. But Luke and Ella sound good together so....

What girl's names goes with Luke. (I don't want them to rhyme, but would like them to "go together".) Make sense??

Jacqueline or spelled Jaclyn with the nickname Jackie goes really well with the name Luke. I also really like the name Juli Noelle. Have you thought about the name Noellia?

Hi,
First let me say that I really like Anna & Luke they are both GREAT names, but if you can't get your husband to go with Anna how about one of these:

Emma Noelle & Luke Thomas

Sara Noelle & Luke Thomas

Kathryn Noelle & Luke Thomas

Olivia Noelle & Luke Thomas

Do you like any of those?
Good luck!

Katherine, nn Kate or Katie
Madeleine, nn Maddie
Margaret, nn Greta or Maggie
Elise
Charlotte, nn Lottie

If it's the "Ella" that you really like, and aren't so crazy about Elizabeth, have you thought about other names to get that nn - Gabriella or Isabella/Isabel?

My favorite suggestion has been Luke and Meg; nn for Margaret or Megan. I love the name Meg!

Luke is a fantastic name, by the way - really an underused classic.

I love Anna, but Anna Noelle is very "N" heavy. I LOVE Luke Thomas. With Luke Thomas, how about...

Cora Noelle

Sarah Noelle

Catherine nn Cady Noelle

Charlotte Noelle

Mia Noelle

Audrey Noelle

Mary Noelle

Julia Noelle
