Brooke (girl) too popular??? *m*

I love this name but I think it is very popular. We have a Collin and Gavin. I kind of wanting to keep the "in" sound. So I am leaning toward Owen (boy) But what do you think about the name Brinn (for a girl)?? Does Brinn LiliAnn sound funny???
I really wanted to use LiliAnn (for a middle name after Lili (MIL) and JoAnn (my mom) I even like it for a first name but wouldn't it be weird since MIL is Lili????
So: Brooke LiliAnn, Brynn LiliAnn or LiliAnn Grace of Brynn Grace (hmmm what DOES Brynn go with???)
Just obsessing don't mind me

I think Brynn LiliAnn is very cute, but it might flow better with Brynna if you like it.
Brynna LiliAnn?
Hope this helps

Candy.. quick aside...I couldn't use the name Cowan.. as it's not a word with the most pleasant meaning.. The earliest references I've been able to find to the word are all
Masonic. It refers to one who builds dry stone walls - i.e., without the use of mortar - thus making sense (to me) of the Masonic usage of the word to mean "an outsider" or "Not One Of Us." and naming a child something that more or less means "outsider" just doesn't seem right to me.

Owen is sweet though. If it was the name of the super hit Owen Wilson, I'd completely love it. As it stands now, I just like it. It's just a bit too popular for my liking.
As for girls, I'll third Lillian instead of LilliAnn(e). Lillian is less fussy and gets the Lily & Ann(e) mix across just fine on it's own. Lillian Brooke, Lillian Grace, and I'll second Lily-Anne Grace.. i just adore that combo! It's gorgeous!
Have not read all the replies and I am just a lurker, but my dd (age 6) is Brynna Leigh. With our oldest ds, he would've been Brynna Rose (Rose for my g'ma) if he'd been a girl. By the time dd was incubating, I liked Leigh better (Leigh is my sister's mn).
We call her Brynna, Brynn, Brynnie, etc. Depends on the mood lol.
BTW - I like your line of thinking for girls' names hehe. Do you know how many times I've been told that the name Brynna is "odd?" Geesh. I didn't think it was too weird, but ??. Whatever! LOL
Amy :-) Navy wife and Mom to Edge William (almost 8), Brynna Leigh (6) and Nikolas Traven (3)
First of all, LiliAnn is tedious. Brooke is fine, and so is Brynn, really. However, if your intention is to name your daughter after her grandmothers, what is wrong with Lili Anne? OR Anna Lili? Ann can be spelled with or without an "e" on the end. Lili can be spelled Lillie, Lilly, Lillie, or Lilley.
Lili Anne maintains the integrity of each mother's name and of the separate pronunciations. Stick a hyphen in there if you just have to (Lili-Anne), but please don't just smash them together! Lillie Anne and Anna Lillie are my favorites, but I MUCH prefer either of those, no matter how you spell it, to Brooke or Brynn and DEFINITELY LiliAnn. Lilian is close behind Lillie Anne and Anna Lillie.
I don't think Brooke is too popular and Brooke LiliAnn sounds sweet.
I love Brynn, but don't think it goes well with LiliAnn.
Good Luck,
Brooke
