I don't want this to sound mean, because that isn't what I mean, but your Christmas cards read like the old testament, I think you have to go with Naomi, or Ruthie is cute too.

I agree - Naomi is the run-away winner there!

Nastassja only makes sense if you're from a country where J makes a I sound and you don't pronounced Joshua 'yosh-u-ah' do you?

Nastassja and Tatiana are due to hubby's input. And yes, he heard the name from Nastassja Kinski. Personally I hate it...sounds "Nasty" but I could live with a short form like Tess, or Tassja. Our last name is German so the Russian doesn't sound that odd with it. Neither of us is particularly thrilled with Naomi but it was a 3 syllable biblical name that most people would know but not too many people would have the name. Hubby is still sold on Nastassja...woe is me!

First off, I love your sons names. I love the sound of them together and I love the biblical theme.

I didnt vote. With your sons names being such STRONG biblical names, it would only make sense that your daughter have one as well. Natassja is very confusing....plus it has the words NAST and ASS in it!! Tatiana just doesnt flow, and Naomi, it isnt as strong/popular as your boys names and it is alittle old fashioned IMO. I hope I am not offending you!
The first thing that popped in my head was:

Rachel Dianne *very feminine and sweet
Rebekah/Rebecca NN Becca/Bekah

Other suggestions:

Abigail NN Abby
Hannah NN Annie or just Hannah
Sarah
Leah

Best of luck! Let us know what you choose.

Thank you for your suggestions. No, I am not offended. I appreciate your opinion (and feel tha same about Nastassja). I am not particulary fond of the names Abigail and Rachel as I knew people with those names I didn't really like. All the rest are two syllables and I really don't want a 2 syllable name (last name is 2 syllables and I like the varied sound better). Any other ideas?

I don't like the sound of any of the 3 syllable names in the list (except maybe Delilah but my best friend's kid is Dalilah and I don't want the same name).

Thanks for trying...
