Brynn or Brynna

We are getting close to our due date (Dec. 29) and my husband and I still can't agree on a name. We both like Brynn for a girl, but with our last name (Carr), it just sounds too choppy. We talked about adding an "a" and making it Brynna. Middle name will be Lillian after a family member. What do you think, or any other suggestions?

I like Brynn Lillian Carr better. I think it flows better without the a. You might try using Brianna... I like that one as well.

I vote for Brynn-- to me Brynna is too much like Brianna which seems ot be taking over. Brynn seems like a more tailored version (and I think it may be a genuine Welsh name). Much more credible and has the spunk of earlier Brooke.

I like Brynn better. Have you considered Brinley?

I also prefer Brynn over Brynna, although I agree that Brynn Carr is choppy sounding. Maybe Brenna instead? Similar sounding and I love the name.

I've always liked Brynna, but prefer the spelling Brynnah.

My granddaughter's name is Brinley and we call her Brin alot. If you wanted you could spell it Brynnlee and call her Brynn. Just a suggestion.

Would you consider Lillian Brynn Carr?
I think Lillian Carr sounds like a screen siren's name - I love it!

Brynna just doesn't compare, for me. I have a thing about made up names . . . also Brynn, while a nice name, is awfully trendy these days. I think Lillian Brynn Carr will lod up nicely through the years.

Best of luck to you!

Would you consider Bronwyn as an alternative? Otherwise my vote is for Brynn.
