We are getting close to our due date (Dec. 29) and my husband and I still can't agree on a name. We both like Brynn for a girl, but with our last name (Carr), it just sounds too choppy. We talked about adding an "a" and making it Brynna. Middle name will be Lillian after a family member. What do you think, or any other suggestions?

ohhh, I like Lillian Bryn Carr, or Lillian brynna Carr. Otherwise I agree that Bryn is a bit choppy sounding with Carr. Brynna sounds better, but I don't like sound of name quite as much as Bryn. Bryn is really cute. I also like Brinley a lot!! Brinley/Brynnly sounds great with Carr.
Good luck...

I love both names but with your last name there is no way that Brynn's gonna flow...I don't know what's wrong with Brynna, there are much worse 'made up' names than this, it's like mixture of Brynn and Brenna and I don't think it's weird at all. I am biased because we're expecting for May 2007 and if we end up with a girl she'll be Brynna Claire. I love Brynn but it just doesn't flow well with your family name. Brynna does..and I think it's unique, feminine and very pretty! I'd go for it!

Good luck!
