I know Kelli and Ginger were waiting for news so...
Hey I just wanted to let you all know that Camryn Violet was born on June 1, 2007 at 2:17 a.m. It is actually a funny story. I went to the Dr. on May 31st in the afternoon and the Dr. said I was almost 4 cm. He then scheduled an induction for the following evening (June 1st at 7:30 p.m.). I really didn't want an induction, but I was so uncomfortable that I agreed. Well DH and I finished up some last minute things, picked up DS from my moms, and then went home. I was feeling fine, I cooked dinner, and then I packed Weston's bag to stay with IL's while we were in the hospital. I sat down around 7:15 p.m. and my water broke. I was so excited because I didn't want to be induced, and I wasn't having any pain yet so I was just really excited. My mom came up with DS until FIL could come get him and DH and I went to the hospital. Contractions started coming very fast and strong once I was in the hospital, I got an epidural which we thought slowed things down. I was checked just before 1 a.m. and I was 5 cm. Well I started feeling so much pain and pressure just before 2 a.m. so the nurse checked me agian, and I was 10 cm. and her head was right there! I went from 5-10 cm in an hour! I started to push at 2 a.m. and Camryn was born at 2:17 a.m. She weighed 7 lbs. 9 oz. and was 20.25 in. long. I talked to the nurse in recovery the next day and told her the story of how my water broke exactly 24 hours before I was supposed to be induced. The nurse said that L&D had been so busy, and that my induction would have been cancelled because of all the blue moon/full moon babies. Camryn was the first June baby to be born on my EC board. Thanks for listening if you made it this far.

Congratulations! I hope my labor is that fast and easy! lol

Aww, congrats, Michelle! And of course, the update is much appreciated (now for some pics ... hint, hint LOL).
So glad to hear you didn't "have" to be induced, as well. I never get why doctors insist on inducing for absolutely no reason at all -- or worse, because you're body seems to be progressing nicely on it's own and they somehow take that to mean they need to hurry things along so they can fit it into their schedule

Found her, Michelle! And she's gorgeous! Love the hair, btw. Babies with hair always seem to have so much personality. ;)
Of course, it took me a while -- because I forgot you told me which folder and there are a LOT of folders to browse through on there LOL -- so I enjoyed seeing some of the names and checking out a few other pics and birth stories. Saw another unmedicated 10-pounder mentioned (Abigail was nearly 11, so I couldn't help but read that one ... kind of BTDT for me LOL). Neat board!
Loved the pics, again. She's absolutely perfect. ;)
