What do you feel about the name Caprice (for a girl). Although BF would want to spell it as Kaprice or Kapreese or somehow with a K. I trhink he wants a K since our sons name is Kai. I think it is cute. Although I coulnt really think of a good middle name to go with it. Not that we are in a hurry. Our son was just born and we are not planning a sibling anytime tooooo soon. He just said yesterday that he would want to name our daughter that assuming we had a daughter. What do you think? what about a MN? Do you think that it would make people think of the car?

Hate it.

That just makes the name worse, and to add insult to injury others will have the impression that you are not well educated (by mispelling the name). I also can't see Dr. Kapreese or President Kaprice.

No MN could save Caprice.
**Do you think that it would make people think of the car?
Yes

Awful, with any spelling.
It reminds me of the salad (ya know, tomatoes, fresh mozzarella and basil).
The name is NMSAA.
I rather like it...although I wouldn't use it personally. It doesn't remind me of the car, but you do need to consider whether it would bother you, if it did remind people...
The salad is Caprese. I don't like the name at all with "K"...while normally I love K names....
How about shortening it to Capri and using it for a middle name? True, Capri is the name of a style of pants now(!) but when I think of it, I think of the beautiful Mediterranean island destination.
Good luck!
1) it would be mispronounced/misspelled alot,
2) I really don't think the meaning is something you want to put on a girl, since caprice as a word means impulsivity, doing things randomly on a whim.
And I have never heard of the car, but in general I think it sounds pretty but is only nice in theory, not in real life : /
Sorry!

The car doesn't come to mind right away for me, and I like the sound of the name, but think I'd prefer it for a middle name. As pointed out before, there is the meaning, which might not be something you want for your child's first name. Being a lawyer, when I hear the word caprice, I think of the arbitrary & capricious standard, which is used in some types of legal analysis. I probably like it less for that reason than non-law type people.
There are lots of names with similar sounds--do you like any of these?
Cadence
Patrice
Terese
Carine (friend in Armenian)
Carmine
Charise/Charisa/Cherise
Good luck!!
