I like Sterling and Campbell to go with your other names.

A previous poster suggested Hadley or Fallon. I like those best!

macauley is cute but is it too much of the 'c'sound still-according to the name experts that is a nono.

I do like Carrington, but I would avoid another 'C' or 'K' name. I know you've probably considered every name under the sun, but here are a few just in case:

Ellis
Elliott
Foster
Ramsey
Frasier
Paisley
Lindley
Linden
Jessamine
Jansen
Kellan
Quinn / Quincy
Quinton / Quintin
Sorley
Dylan
Ferren
Spencer
Darby
Mallory
Meredith
Devon
Hartley
Hayden
Leighton / Layton
Robin
Teagan

With Carter, Hunter, and Kennedy, I like Quincy, Mallory, Elliott, Paisley, and Lindley.

Good luck!!!!

Liz

Remember, you're allowed to spit in the eye of the experts. And maybe take a naming vacation. Don't worry about it, google what color giraffes are--yellow with brown spots or brown with yellow lines--for your six year old, and get back to it in a week and don't worry about pleasing everyone, because it can't happen. Please yourself, please your husband, but don't let it drive you nutty. There are enough other things in having a baby to do that!

I agree with Dr. Kae!!! It is your baby . . . you name her what you want! No one on this message board will ever see your baby and the rest of the public will not think a thing about a little girl named Carrington with a sister named Carter. To be honest, I don't think it sounds bad at all. Heck, pretend you are writing out a Christmas card. Sign all of your names. . . if YOU like the way it looks and sounds----GO FOR IT!! I do this everytime I think of a name I like . . . some pass the test, others fail! Hang in there~

I gave some suggestions because I thought you weren't thrilled with Carrington, but I actually like it quite a bit. It's a nice name and like someone else said...no one will notice that it is similar to Carter.
I have a Scott and a Wyatt and for a while I was dead set on Scarlett if we have a little girl. Scott and Scarlett are VERY close together! But i did not care because I used to love the name!
