Wondering your thoughts on this name. How would you pronounce it? Iknow two people who have used it (but got announcements and not sure how to say it)one for a boy and one for a girl. I have heard of Casey, but not sure what Case means?

my borhter who died a few years ago, his middle name was Case and we pronounced it just like a briefcase....its a pretty cool name..ive thought of using it as a middle name as a tribute to my brother when i have a baby boy..its a very cool name..not sure for the first name..but if u do choose it for first name, and give them a more normal middle name, they have the choice of what to use when they start school and all that..:)

Never heard of it. I would simply pronounce it as we all know & say it ... Case! (Long a, silent e.)

My brother is Casey & we usually call him Case for short.

There is a Dutch version -- usually spelled Keas -- pronounced Case (or very close to that).

Case looks like a word to me-- case, as in, a place to store items and cart them around, like a briefcase or travel case.

If you go by pronunciations in most Romantic languages, it would probably be something like CAH-say.

I don't like it in either case. ;-)

Although...I think it makes a fine nn. So maybe pick something else as the fn and then have him go by Case--that's okay. It kind of sounds like a name for a detective, or a lawyer. ;-)

Good luck! :-)
