Is Chloe really very popular?

I have always liked Chloe, but I remember seeing that it was really popular a few years ago. I personally only know one Chloe, so I was wondering if it is really very overused? A friend told me it was mainly popular in England. Maybe it was very popular for a year or so in the U.S. and then cooled off? I don't mind using a name if my child may have 1 other child by the same name in her class, but not if she will have 5 others (i.e. Maddison, Katelynn, the Mc names, etc.). What do you think? Also, keep in mind that I am not TTC until this coming summer, so my child would have another year or two to let the name cool off.

Hi,
I am a US citizen who's been temporarily transplanted to England, and I can tell you that there are certainly a lot of Chloes over here! In just the play groups I attend there are several. But back home I know 2 pregnant people who are using Chloe if they have girls. Both are due soon, so maybe you're right, and it'll cool down if your waiting awhile.

I dont think that Chloe is very popular, but to me, Chloe doesnt seem like a name for a kid. my dogs name is chloe. I used to like it for a girl, but now whenever i see a girl named chloe it seems weird to me. I thikn that Chloe is way more popular for a kid then a dog, but now it just seems wierd to me. I do really love the name though. LOL!
