Ok after looking around i found this cool site the other night can't rember it at the moment but it lets you put in your fav names, colors, times of year, zodic and so on. We alread have a named picked out for a boy Preston Giles. but this girl name is stumping both dh and i. I was thinking of Erika but my DH (eric) doesn't want his daughters name close to his. but when i did this thing it came up with a backwards eric "Cire" I auchualy like it and so does DH. Now its a middle name thing. What the heck will we use. I was thinking of using my'ne Loree but that sounds to weird. any idea's anyone

I don't like Cire. Mostly because it looks like a type of fabric - Ciré (without the accent, of course). It means "to wax". I found the definition at Miriam Webster online, so you can look it up too, if you think I'm making this up. I'm not fond of the sound of it either "sir-ay", more or less. Sorry.

edited to add a stray apostrophe.

Cire????? how are you planning to pronounce that - like a horse who "sires" colts? it's an animal terminology for the male who impregnantes the female.

that is just stupid, I'm sorry to be so blunt.

Cire . . . pronounced Sir-eee? Like Yessireee Bob?

I guess any of these would be nice:

Amanda Cire
Belinda Cire
Catriona Cire
Danielle Cire

It seems to go well with almost anything.

Good Luck!

I like it. And I like that it's tyed to your hubby's name.

I found a simlar name, Cyr meaning a corn kernel in the girl section of my name book.

How about

Cire Lauren (simalar to your name)

Cire reminds me of "wax" in French. When pronounced "Si-Ree" ( like yesserrie bob, as someone else said), I think it's a little to out there for me. But if you love it and your hubby feels the same than it's nobody elses business! :)

Do what you like :)
