Me and my hubby both actually like the name Claira but our last name in Arsenault. Does this clash because of the a's? Is it a no no? How is Claira usually spelt? Claira or Clara?

Thanks

This name is spelled Clara. Clara Margaret Arsenault is a lovely pick!

Good luck,

It is spelled "Clara". Actually when I saw your spelling with the "I" I mentally misprounced it to something funky that I thought was made up! LOL

I would also forewarn you from spelling Clara in any sort of unusual way because I would guess your last name may give her trouble as well- don't make everything hard!

but I like the your name combination. Really, it's lovely. ;)

I would tend to go with Claire b/c of the double a's, but definitely Clara otherwise.

I have never seen the Claira spelling, it looks weird to me. Clara is much nicer and the more common spelling (the only one I've ever seen). Clara Arsenault runs into each other a bit, but its not horrible and I love the name.

Other names of a similar style:

Claire Arsenault

Juliet Arsenault

Lucy Arsenault

Faye Arsenault

Ashlyn Arsenault

Genevieve Arsenault

Sadie Arsenault

Hi Joni

I do really like the name combination that you have came up with but however, I would have use the spelling Claire instead because of double a's.

If you're looking for an unqiue name that is simliar to Clara and Claire, how about Clarise?

Just my two cents.
Good luck!

I agree that Clara is the best spelling.

Prefer Clara sp. The name works fine with your ln.

Thank you for your 2 cents. One of my friends has a daughter named Claire, thats why I was trying to stay away from it, but however I do love it. I know its no big deal but I like names no one has around in our small community. So do you think that Clara Margaret Arsenault goes ok with the other siblings. Brayden Scott, Reese Abbie & Denver Emmett?

Thanks Again

Hi

I actually did think that Clara goes very well with her siblings' names. It just has a nice ring to it you know?

If you really really love Clara then I don't see why you should not be able to use this name!

Maybe you could use a nn for Clara.. I could not think of anything but if I do, I will let you know ASAP.

What do you think?
