Clara Grace?

Another possible name that I have been thinking about lately. Clara (nn Clare), is it too much like our other dd Katherine (nn Kate)?
Our other children: Elizabeth (Beth), Nicholas (Nick), James (Jack), and Samuel (Sam).
The other possible names are: Alexandra (Allie), Audrey, or Virginia (Ginny). The last one is dh's favorite, but the one I like the least. Grace will be the middle name.
Thanks,
Deb

Hi Deb -
Clara Grace is ok to me. It might get a little tongue tied calling out for Kate & Clare.
Also, your other daughter have longer (beautiful) names - the little one might feel left out.
All the names on your list will work with Grace.
I like the following:
1. Alexandra Grace (my fav) or Alexa Grace will work as well
2. Audrey Grace (pretty)
3. Virginia Grace is ok - I like Virginia Rose or Virginia Claire
4. Clara Grace
HTH, Let's talk again -
Donna
mom to Alexandra, Samantha & Gabriella
I originally thought no on Clara because the other kids have longer names ~ but hey! Samuel and James aren't longer are they?
I like Clare/Claire w/ the other kids' nicknames.....I don't know that I would worry about the tongue-twister of "Kate and Claire" because what's the possibility of you only need those two at one time? I know I would probably call them, or introduce them, in
I see Clare/Claire as a classic/traditional
I see Clara as old-fashioned.
really not a Clare fan, but really dislike Clara
however, Clare Grace would be two one-syllable names, which doesn't flow well
Grace is becoming the new "Lynn, Lee, Marie, etc. of middle names. every time you turn around a little girl's middle name is Grace - regardless of the style of first name, trendy, modern, classic, old-fashioned.
of your other possibles I like the nickname Allie, but am not an Alexandra fan. how about Allison (Allie). I think that would also fit well with your other kids
good luck
I like it. I think Clara's very pretty and not common.
