'Classic' boys names? ? about poll...

Hi - I was just thinking about the results of a poll I just did about the name Henry. A number of people answered that they did not like the name and I wondered you could tell me why you do or do not like that name? Also what other names do you consider classic (or as some might say 'old-fashioned')? We also had Benjamin and Jack on our list at one time and I guess those might fall under that category.

TIA!

I don't like Henry because I see it as "old" rather than "classic"

I see Benjamin as "classic" and Jack as "trendy" right now.

other "classic" names I like are Matthew, Michael, Joshua, Andrew, Anthony, Luke, Christopher, Nicholas, Nathaniel or Nathan, Zachary.

I also think Henry has always reminded me way too much of that silly Henry the Eighth song.

of Henry, Benjamin and Jack I would pick Jack.

other boys names I like which are sort of not yet considered classic, but sort of past their prime stage are: Gregory, Jeffrey, Kevin, Shawn, Brian, Eric.

other names I like that seem as more "today" or "trendy" are Keegan, Derek, Landon, Hunter, Holden, Ian, Brennan, Conner, Colin, Colton, Garrett, Jared, Kyle or Kyler, Parker, Preston, Rory, Shayne, Tanner, Trevor.

good luck

I find it so funny that people say they think Henry is old fashion when it's 116! SOMEBODY must like it & be using it. Name some consider more popular ranked lower on the list: Tanner, Parker, Maxwell, Gage, Brady. Shane, Conner. Interesting peoples impressions.
