Hi, my husband and I are expecting our first in September and we already have a name for a boy picked out, but we are not so sure for a girl. Please comment.
- Catherine
- Christina
- Jenna
- Lacy (My husbands name is Clay, and if you rearrange the letters in Lacy, you get Clay)

I love Catherine spelled this way, so that probably gets the edge. I think it's very regal. Cate, Catie, even Cassie, are great nns for it.
I prefer Christina spelled Kristina -- and I'm a Christine! But Kristina is a less common and more northern European spelling. I like Chris and Chrissy as nns.
Jenna is nice, but popular in a more trendy way. Catherine and Christina are both fairly popular, but they always have been. I've heard of a lot more little Jennas lately. But popularity doesn't really bother me; I just think that Catherine or Christina are more "substantial" names than Jenna.
Lacy would be my last choice. It's okay - I see the appeal. But I like the idea of a more formal fn that can be shortened. (I also prefer Lacey, but I understand your reasons for spelling it that way).
Catherine - I like this name,it's timeless, but very common.
Christina - Personally, never liked the name, but also timeless.
Jenna - My favorite from your list and more unique.
Lacy - I like how you rearranged your husbands letters. However, this one makes me think of Lacy Peterson. Just can't get past that one!

I like Jenna the best of all those. Catherine and Christina are just a little too traditional for my tastes. Jenna is much fresher, springier, if you know what I mean.
the name Lacy is just too sadly associated with that Laci Peterson case in Calif right now.
I think Jenna Catherine or Jenna Christine (not ChristinA) would sound great together. I do usually go for more traditional names in the middle.
alternative to Jenna is Janna - that's my daughter's middle name. You hear it a lot less frequently than Jenna, although Jenna is by far not overly popular either, which is a good thing.
good luck.

I think.
Christina - I really like this name but unfortunately it's like Catherine in that it's
too popular
*Jenna - I love the name Jenna. It sounds so sunny and bright. This one is one of my
favorites
Lacy- when I hear this name I think Laci Peterson. In 10 years or so no one will
remember or associate this name with the tragedy but honestly, when I saw this
name, the first thing I thought was Laci Peterson. I'm in CA and the case is all
over the papers and the news.
