Ruby is a lovely name and I would have no qualms using it.

I love, love, love Ruby Grace. I think it's perfect. It has the old-fashioned feel of so many popular names (Ava, Isabella, Hannah, Emily, etc) but without the overwhelming popularity. It's a well-known name that is recognizable and easy to pronounce -- I doubt anyone will think it's weird -- but it's not so common/popular that people are sick of it. I think it's a refreshing choice that fits in nicely with the popular names. Perfect.
I think Ruby Grace is a perfect name! I won't repeat all the things that others have said, but IMO it is a mile above Ava or Gracie! Plus, with Grace as the mn you could always use Gracie as an at-home nn if you wanted.

Ruby is a great name. It would be on my list if only my LN didn't end in an "eee" sound.
