common, but not too common?

We have the MOST common last name ever, but my DH doesn't like any unique names or unique spellings. Names cannot be unisex either. My fav for a girl is Kacie, but he says no because a boy can be Casey. He wants it to be classic, but not too popular. Is that even possible? Any suggestions?

A few ideas for beautiful, classic names:
Lila
Calla
Catherine nn Cass
Amelia nn Mia
Annabel
Eva
Stella
Claire
Nina
Elena
Carys
Cecily
Cecilia
Celia
Caroline nn Carly
Juliana

Eliza
Clara
Adeline nn Addie
Gemma
My dd's are Jillian & Tess & while everyone has heard of the names I haven't run across very many of either..I had tha sama problem when I was pg! Good luck!

Mommy to Michael David,
Our angel Ashley Nicole,
Jillian Paige,
& Tess Alexandria
Wow my typing is bad tonight! I just wanted to also add that some of the others we loved for Tess were Nina, Georgia, Natalia, Bianca & Lydia, but the "ah" at the end didn't work with our last name...(thus the reason she is Tess & not Tessa lol)...I also love Charlotte & Natalie but dh wouldn't go for it :-) HTH!

Also maybe you could compromise and use her initials as a nickname..like Kathryn Claire and just call her "KC" (Kacie)?
How about Angela? It is sweet and classic and the nn Angie is absolutely adorable. Other options are:
Bridget
Tabitha
Clara/Claire
Taryn
Laurel
Kristen
Erica
Faye
Greta
Cora
I also really like the idea of initials KC "Casey" :
Kristen Cora
Kara Claire
Kathryn Corinne
Kelsey Calista
Kimberly Cecelia
Karina Chloe
I think my favourite KC combo is Kathryn Corinne
We're sorta the opposite -- we have a very unusual, difficult last name, so we wanted something common enough that people could generally spell/pronounce it, but not so common that there would be a ton of kids with the same names in their classes.
Some girl names we considered...
Amelia, nn Mia/Lia/Amy
Caroline, nn Cara/Carrie
Katrina
Eliza
Marina
Erin
Maya
Meredith
Clara/Claire
Josephine, nn Josie
Others you might like...

Cassandra (nn Cassie or even Casey)
Carissa
Georgia
Maleah/Malia
Kendra
Cecilia, nn Cece
Hope that helps a bit!
Stephanie, mom to Megan Joy (nn Meg) and Julianna May (nn Annie)
