I am currently 16 weeks pregnant with twins. (first child, second child and last child. I was thinking of name that start with the same letter. Is this cute or corny?

I maybe wouldn't intentionally "settle" for two names "just" because they had two matching intitials but if you find two names you absolutely love and they happen to

I have twin nephews that are now 6 yrs. old. When my sister in law chose their names she first picked an initial for both of them which was the same as the dads. Their names are Kinley and Kaige- Kinley is short for McKinley which is a family name and Kaige is just something they liked. I don't like names that rhyme or sometimes start with the same letter, but i really like their names and thought I would share them with you! Good Luck! And by the way- twins are so great. They're alot of work- but they're so much fun!

I think it is a great idea as long as the names end differently.

for example:

Seth & Samuel
Collin & Christopher

Anna & Aubrey
Caelin & Courtney

Its a good way to give them a connection while making sure they feel unique.

congrats!

What about matching the first letters but not the phonetic sounds?

Clara and Cecile
Emily and Eden
Greta and Gillian

or

Ernest and Everett
George and Gabriel
Clint and Charles

or

David and Dianne
Shane and Susan
Carl and Cerise

I think giving twins names with the same letter is just fine, but be careful that they don't sound too much alike-it might get confusing. My two best friends (who are each twins themselves) are Erin and Ericka. I told my husband if we ever had twin girls that would be their names!
The only thing that I think would be corny is if the names rhymed....
Good luck

I DONT THINK ITS CORNEY AT ALL. My sister had Identical twin girl and wanted to name them Ashlee, and Annsheree, but decided on Bridgett and Brittney.
