I'm going to have to disagree with the majority (thus far, at least). Your daughters' names, all lovely, to me project a charmingly old-fashioned British sophistication and romantic femininity. Julia should fit into that category, and not all that long ago it probably did, but steady use in recent years has left it a little faded, to my mind. (Yes, I know that Sophia ranked rather higher in the most recent US statistics, 2005. However, Julia has been in the top 75 for at least 15 years - as far back as the Social Security Index provides data for - and top 50 for the past 11; Sophia, on the other hand, has risen in popularity more recently and more rapidly, and lacks the "beginning to sound dated" feel of Julia). While it's lagging in your poll, I'll also point out that Maria, too, is a name that should fit with Clara, Sophia and Eva, but somehow doesn't. It is equally lovely, but gives a very Catholic, Latin and/or Italian impression, which would be perfect in many situations but leaves it seeming a little out-of-step with your other three.

I'm torn between Louisa and Helena, both being beautiful, distinctive yet familiar, and in perfect harmony with your older daughters' names. I wonder if others perhaps felt the same way... I do wish there was a polling system that provided a ranking option. It's possible that more people prefer both Louisa and Helena to Julia, but because they can only choose one, the individual scores for each come out lower, if that makes sense. Of course, that's entirely speculation on my part, but I have seen many polls where the distribution suggested such a possibility. Personally, I went with Helena, probably because I prefer Josephine to Jane, but on another day I could just as easily have chosen Louisa. Both excellent options, in my opinion.

"Helena Josephine" is very, very nice. I'd advise? Go with it. It works it!
