YES! That was one of my name thoughts for this, our third boy, but DH said he did not like it at all. So, it gets my vote!

YES! I really like Declan. And it has a nice meaning- Irish Saint. I was reading another post on this name, and the only problem anyone could come up with was that the nn, if you would use it, would be Dec... and if you change the middle letter you get something completely different. I don't think it would matter though. Just thought I would let you know if it might make a difference to you. I really like this name though. Its a very nice choice.
