Does 2nd child need to be named after...

Hi there,
We named my son Bryson (after my husbands cousin who passed away - he was very close to us) - now we are having another baby and wondering-do we have to name him/her after somebody too? Will they feel bad if there is a story about my first son got his name, but we just picked a random name we liked for second baby?
Thanks!
Gina

I think it'd be nice to give this second baby at least a mn w/signifigance. :)

I dont think it would be a big deal for your second child to not be named after someone - My sisters name is Jessica Suzzannah and she was only named that because my mum absolutely loved those names - i on the other hand was named by my dad and im Stephanie Barbara named after my dad (Whose middle name is Stephen) and my Grandma (Barbara) although im the youngest i have asked my sister if it bothers her that her name doesnt have much meaning and she said it didnt bother her at all because our mum picked a name she really loved! If you're worried about it why dont you pick a name with significant meaning like Strength (Angus, Audrey, Gabriel etc) or Nobel (Ada, Baron, Patrick) a good site is www.babynames.com hope this helps! Good luck :)
